Are you struggling to get lower in your squat, suffer from soreness for days after a heavy workout or have chronic back pain that is limiting what you can do in your workouts? Foam rollers, lacrosse and medicine balls could be the answer! Utilizing these tools before and after your workout could be the key to improving mobility and flexibility, allowing you to take your training to the next level. They are great for soft tissue massage and finding myofascial trigger points, which helps release tension and pain.

I remember when I first started to use them in my gym back in London. I would get lots of looks as you have to place your body in strange positions on the floor wrapped around a long cylinder shaped piece of foam or hard ball. The process can be painful but the benefits far outweigh the discomfort in the moment. The article below explains why we use them with our clients before and after a hard session in the gym or any sporting event. So although the process can look a bit strange and awkward to the untrained eye, get rolling in the gym and don't let pain and tension restrict you any more!
